Nice Rock ‘em Sock ‘em homage.

  3. brian

    sad but true! Stop it!

  4. SamDamnit

Finally! I thought you had lost your “funny”. This one makes up for all that other IYSS dreck. I am glad that I stuck it out. Keep up the good work.

  5. Antony

This would be perfect to place as someone’s screensaver without their knowledge.

  6. Munan

    literally amazing.

  7. Jeff S.

Global Warming… pshshhhhh.. Who still buys into that drivel.

  8. Close....

Not sure I buy it all, but it sure seems to feel that way…

  9. Josh

Ever given any thought to being a professional political cartoonist, Bernie?

  10. StKev

Why is he mooning his son, and what’s up with those Hershey’s Kisses?

  11. Elliot

oh man this made me laugh so much that i almost laid a global warming myself.

  12. Neil (AoD)

Its the American way! U-S-A! U-S-A!

Sad but true cartoon- thats what happens when you let feckwits run your country…

  13. Rob

Shoulda had a dangly with the “Elect-” written on the exposed part. Let’s face it, that’s the next thing to be squeezed out.

  14. I don't get it

    Huh?

  15. Thomsen

No wonder the world hates you, with a governening system so openly allowing corruption.

  16. Muda

please….go back to alp. this hasnt been funny yet.

  17. Marten

Don’t listen to the imbeciles begging you to stop this and going back to alp. I like IYSS.

  18. nick

I guess the only people who liked this are Republican Americans. If you did wrong, don’t complain too much if the world rubs that shit in your face.

  19. Azhren

    @ nick,
I am Australian and I find this comic (and the whole site) funny.

Keep up the great work, Bernz

i read it as the Dad, spoiling his son’s happiness by dumping these horrible facts if how bad the world is on him. i don’t see this being particularly biased to one political side or the other. they’re everyone’s problems.

  21. Vince

Usually the comic leans pretty liberal, which I enjoy, but I’m not really sure what this one is. I thought it was a “stop the shit”/”Cut the crap” sort of thing but I could also be a spoiling of the child’s innocence thing.

  22. shinymelon

i think theres a bit of the generational thing, as in Dad’s generation is pooing on the kid’s generation with all the crap.

And whats this about Republicans? Who buys into that anymore anyway? ;-)

  23. ninnja

I like the poster from “cars”!

  24. Seren

Amazing Bernie! I thought IYSS was going to be lame, but it’s getting to be as good as aLp, and though I miss aLp, keep up with IYSS!

  25. BlueNight

Yeah, I wish we would stop propping up failing socialist regimes with aid money. That would get us out of debt REAL fast. Or fire half the federal government. Perhaps stop buying goods from China, where a brown sky is a GOOD day. And keep our commitments to our allies, unlike how we pulled out of Vietnam and 80′s Afghanistan.

  26. Phrank

Ah yes. A sound, time-honored solution to troubling economic times. Fire half the federal government: when losing a million jobs in the private sector JUST ISN’T ENOUGH.

  27. OH HO

    CUTTING SOCIAL COMMENTARY INDEED, bernie

  28. lotusduck

Most political comics blame the government or the other party, this is more down to earth because the symbolic figure crapping on the next generation is just a person, we (basically) elected the people in power, and asked them to do most of what they are doing.
